Well now the question is, is this going to be the solution to the flaws or bugs in the other versions. Hope so Cuz am tired of the VISTA “thing”. This version I’m told is the light weight version of Windows VISTA.

All these racing games are very crazy and addictive… Please don’t start any of them if you think that you cannot end it. My favourite as @ now is the NFS Most Wanted..Guess I like the story line and the Graphics. Happy Gaming. Followed by NFS Undercover (which I haven’t had experience of yet ) Am Still Waiting for the NFS World Online Thing.

Finally! we all said. Now the next thing was how we were going to get down the ferry. It was a challenge for some people especially the ladies. This was the case because we were supposed to use a different route rather than the normal and “easy” one. We were going to climb over the rails of the ferry in order to get onto the docking platform. The natives of the Island were happily welcoming us. This painted the picture of some white men coming to visit the black natives of a land. hehehe

We bypassed the Princess ferry just about 80% of the journey covered it was also returning from it’s voyage. Damn! I said because the Princess would have offered us lots of fun on board than the Queen which was full of fish stench. I was told that there was even a live band concert on board the princess. missed all that for this slow moving ferry.

It’s about time that the government of Ghana actually did something about this.

Stage set for the Show to begin

The stage was all set for the Joy FM Annual Skuulz Reunion tagged as “the Biggest Outdoor Program in Ghana”, which really proved to it’s name this year, to begin.

As a first timer, I was astonished @ the crowd of people that attended, I almost suffocated, the masses were great. I believe that the people who attended were not only reps from the Alma Maters, but current students of SHS’ were also present.. so that should tell u that there were lots of immature fooling around. In fact I was very much disappointed @ how most of the youngsters were fooling about especially the males, who were almost naked. This could be as a result of the “Hard Drinks” that some of them took during the Program.

But on the overall, it was a nice and successful event, lots of high profile personalities were there, and lets not talk of the Musicians,they were all there to grace the occasion and their Alma Maters.

I hope that who ever is reading this post will make it a point to attend next time next year.

Mad Man Getting A Shave before Cure begins

The picture above is showing how a mad man is being cured live @ Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Accra. The mad man is being given a hair cut by one of the apprentice of the prophet, before the curing process begins. The most surprising thing is how the mad man became calm all of a sudden when he was called forth to come.

There were lots of mad people who were paraded and each took turns, as the crowd had circled them. It was a D-Day for all the mad people @ circle during that time because they will be cured absolutely free of charge from their miserable condition.

I had a chance to witness this event for about 30 minutes, and i must say that it was very surprising and interesting to see purely mad people recovering from an ailment that is almost impossible to cure. As soon as they get the haircut they are automatically calmed and the rest of the process continues with some washing and some incantations.

Transportation Issues in Kete Krachi V/A

Transportation Issues @ Kete Krachi V/A

Both pictures in this post shows the trouble or problems that people in Kete Krachi are facing as far as transportation is concerned. It is a SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST ISSUE. Lorry or commercial buses are always scarce and if one doesn’t take any drastic measures he/she will be by the road side for the whole day.. and may finally decide to walk home or to the farm.

How can people live like this..this problem does not prevail in the Kete Krachi Township its self but rather in the surrounding villages and towns.People have to climb on top of buses in order to create room for themselves in transport.The saddest thing is that, these people who risk their lives like this pay the same fare as those who are comfortably seated in the dust filled buses or lorries. Isn’t this disturbing to anyone especially the government.

Our case was different, because of the government pickups and buses that we (the MRW Operators and NIA Officials) sent there with us, we were savaged from the SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. But we were caught in some of them like low phone network reception (MTN,TIGO,ONETOUCH,etc) in fact all of them. We had to stand at a particular point to receive signals, as soon as you tilt or move in any position, your signal is lost.

We had to live with this coupled with other things like, YAM FUFU – which i hated but had to make do with it cuz there was no option, No TV – except for one,No Radio – except for one, among others that i cant mention.

The roads were all dust because they were untarred. We had to walk long distances @ times just to get a place of convenience, and the water condition was no good as well

The Tour On Yapei Queen

It was a very interesting time touring this wonderful ferry, which have been plying the Volta lake to and from Akosombo for over 50 years..since Ghana’s Independence.

The sad thing however is that, since this mother ferry was bought by our first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, it has not seen any maintenance on it before. Isn’t that sad.

I think it is about time that the government did something about this disgrace that the country have. Because of the condition of the ferry it is not working up to it’s optimum performance..it take the ferry longer ours to cross just a small portion of the lake, which i could have crossed with only about 150 steps

The Yapei Akosombo Queen Ferry needs attention. It’s condition is bad. one of it’s engines is completely down. Sorry couldn’t upload any videos… But I promise you I will get you videos very soon.
